ITP95 was deployed on a 1.6 m thick icefloe in the Transpolar Drift on April 11, 2017 at 89° 12.1 N, 30° 42.0 E from the Russian ice camp Barneo. On the same icefloe, a Naval Postgraduate School Arctic Ocean Flux Buoy (AOFB), and an US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) Seasonal Ice Mass Balance Buoy were deployed. The ITP includes a dissolved oxygen sensor and is operating on a fast sampling schedule of 4 one-way profiles between 7 and 760 m depth each day.
