Description
TOP 28 was deployed on an ice floe approximately 1.2 meters thick on 27 August, 2026 at 85° 27.9’ N, 129° 0.9’ E. This deployment was done as part of the HiAOOS 2026 cruise aboard the KV Svalbard. The TOP was co-located with a snow and ice mass balance (SIMBA) buoy and an upper ocean buoy approximately 200 meters away.
