Description
TOP 26 was deployed on an ice floe approximately 1.3 meters thick on 29 August, 2026 at 85° 58.38’ N, 137° 14.30’ E. This deployment was done as part of the HiAOOS 2026 cruise aboard the KV Svalbard. The TOP was co-located with a snow and ice mass balance (SIMBA) buoy approximately 200 meters away.
