Scenic - Midnight Sun(s)

This image was taken at about midnight from the bow of the ship as we were slicing through calm waters on the way to the next mooring location. The sun had just begun to dip into a low fog bank on the horizon. You can actually see edges of the cloud layer as horizontal lines extending from the sun roughly halfway down. When I saw the sun's reflection, creating this illusion of a "double sun," I knew the shot would be a keeper. (And, since I was shooting digital, I checked the image in the CCD and KNEW it was a keeper!) No filtration was used in this shot - the peach color is exactly as I saw it.
